Ademco Vista Panels - Quick Reference

Check Faulted Zones
Press [*] key.
Smoke Reset:
Smoke Detectors mostly reset automatically with these panels when alarm is silenced. However, the user may have to enter Code + [1] OFF again to reset the smokes. There might be a reset button on some panels for 4-wire smokes.
Code Change:
Code + [8] Code + User # + 4 new digits. Most panels require a 2-digit user number. Vector panels, Vista 10, 4110 and 4120 panels have 1-digit user numbers. Larger panels require alpha keypads and will ask questions to complete after the above process is done.
Chime Mode On/Off:
Code + [9] Chime
Bypass Zone(s):
Code + [6] + Zone number(s). Most panels use 2-digit zone numbers. The very large Vista 100 and Vista 128 panels use 3-digit zone numbers.
Power Down Panel:
Pull one wire from NP7-12 or NP4-12 battery, pull one AC wire. Most panels this will be terminal 1 on the far left bottom of panel. Some panels vary. Vector panels - AC is term. 3 & 4.

Must be done on site - change jumpers on keypad 216 adapter in the panel. Pictured here is 5213 adapter, but it works the same as the 216.
Power down panel: Pull plug on 496 battery, disconnect terminal 17 or 18 (AC power).

Power down panel: Pull plug(s) on battery(s). Most of these are 12 volt panels*. There will be either 2 496 batteries or an NP4-12. Disconnect AC -- far right terminal on bottom terminal strip, left side of panel.

*(There is a 6-volt version of this keypad [5241] that works with the 1023, 1024, 1025 and 1026 panel. It operates the same as this one. Most of these will be 12 volt 1021 panels.)

Check Faulted Zones
Press [ZONE DISPLAY] key. While holding this button down, lights become zone lights. On is faulted, off is normal, blinking is alarm memory.
Smoke Reset:
Press [CMND], then press [TEST RESET]. After 15 seconds, snoke detectors will reset.
Code Change:
Master code is burned onto the chip and can only be changed by technician. User 1 and User 2 code can be added at keypad. To add or change a temp code, press [CODE] button (the button on the older black keypad says [PROGRAM])+ master code + User # (1 or 2) + New 4 digit code.
Chime Mode On/Off:
[CMND] + [CHIME] (9 key).
Bypass Zone(s):
[CMND] + [BYPASS] (6 key) + optionally zone(s) to bypass + [CMND]. Then enter code to arm. If you leave out zone(s) to bypass, the panel will bypass faulted zones automatically.
Power Down Panel:
Either uplug transformer or disconnect terminal 4 or 5 on right side of panel board. Unplug one side of battery (usually an NP4-12 installed).

Arm: Press [1] plus code.
Disarm: Press [1] plus code.
Check Faulted Zones: Lift cover on keypad. Press [2], then your code. For 8 seconds, lights become zone display lights.

Change code: Press [9], [Master Programming Code], Panel will beep twice, all lights will blink, [Press # corresponding to user number you want to add/change], Panel will beep 3 times, [Enter 5 digit new code], (shorter code can be entered by putting zeroes after code), after 5th digit panel will beep one long beep.
Power down panel: Open panel door. Slide power switch down (black switch located lower left corner of circuit board.)


Moose Z1100e with Alpha Keypad -
Quick Reference
Arm
Press [LEAVE] or [STAY]. Then enter your CODE. If you selected [STAY], the keypad will ask you to confirm the interior and delay setting. Press [CONFIRM].
Disarm
Press [DISARM] and enter CODE.
Check Faulted Zones If keypad says [ZONE(S) NOT READY], press [DISPLAY] to view faulted zones.
Smoke Reset
First, enter CODE to silence alarm. If a smoke detector is latched in alarm, the keypad will say [SUPERVISORY/TROUBLE]. You can press the scroll key to verify the trouble condition(s).  Press [SMOKE RESET] and then your CODE.
Code Change
Press Menu Scroll Key 3 times. Press [PROGRAM]. Enter Master Programming Code. Press [CONTROL PANEL]. Press Function Number (01 for user code 1 -- thru -- 17 for user code 17). Press [FIND] when prompted. Display will show first digit of this users code.  Enter each digit of desired new code.  Codes must be 5 digits in length. If you want a shorter code, use trailing zeros (i.e. code 345 would be entered 34500.)
Chime Mode On/Off
Press Menu Scroll Key twice. Press [DAY MONITOR]. Enter CODE.
Force Arm Over Bad Zones
If enabled, keypad will give [LEAVE] and [STAY] options when displaying [ZONE(S) NOT READY]. Press [LEAVE] or [STAY].  Either [BYPASS] or [OVERRIDE] will display. Select this option. If more than one zone is faulted, scroll through faulted zones and bypass or override.
Power Down Panel
Open panel door. Press slide switch down located lower left corner of alarm panel circuit board.


Radionics 2000 series - Quick Reference
Arm: Press [9] to Arm All; Press [0] to Partial Arm
DisArm: Enter Code (If you are still in exit time, just press [CLEAR] to disarm.)
Check Faulted Zones: Faulted zones display automatically when faulted.
Smoke Reset: After silencing siren by entering code, press [3] + code to reset smokes.
Code Change: Enter [5], then [Old Code], then [New Code] same # of digits as old code, then [New Code] again.
Chime Mode On/Off: Press [7], keypad will display current setting.
To Change, enter code + [1] to turn off, [2] to turn on short beep, [3] to beep until CLEAR key is pressed, or [4] to beep until point closes.
Bypass Zone(s): Press [Zone #] + *.
Power Down Panel: Pull wire on NP7-12 battery, disconnect AC wire, upper left terminal on board.


Radionics 4112, 6112 - Quick Reference
Arm: Code + [ENT] key
(Shortcut: [COMMAND] [1] (Arm All), [COMMAND] [2] (Perimeter Instant), or [COMMAND] [3] (Perimeter Delay))
DisArm: Code + [ENT] key
Check Faulted Zones: Zone lights light when faulted. Slow blink means the zone is bypassed. Fast blink is alarm memory.
Smoke Reset: [COMMAND] [4] [7] (Disarm to silence siren first)
Code Change: [COMMAND] [5] + Old Code + [ENT] + New Code + [ENT] + New Code + [ENT]
Chime Mode On/Off: [COMMAND] [6] (Radionics calls it the "Watch Mode")

Power Down Panel: 1) - Pull wire on NP7-12 standby battery; 2) Disconnect terminal 1 AC wire.
Terminal 1 on a D4112 panel is far left bottom just like a Vista panel. On a D6112 panel, it is the far UPPER left corner terminal.


Radionics 7112 -
Quick Reference

This panel keypad has a MENU system which can be invoked by pressing [ENTER], then press [NEXT] to scroll thru options, pressing [ENTER] to select displayed option. The menu system is optional instead of using the "Command" system. You can do either.
Arm
[Code] + [ENTER] is the basic arming method. Shortcuts:
Disarm
[Code] + [ENTER]
Check Faulted Zones
Press [ENTER]. Press [NEXT] until "View Menu" is displayed. Press [ENTER]. Press [NEXT] until "View faulted Points" is displayed. Press [ENTER]. Press [NEXT] to scroll thru faulted points.
Smoke Reset
After resetting fire alarm with [CODE] + [ENTER], press [CMD][4][7] to reset smoke detectors.
Code Change
[CMD][5][5],  Keypad displays [ENTER USER NUM]. Enter User number (not user code) + [ENTER], Keypad displays [ENTER NEW CODE]. Enter new code. Keypad displays [USER XX ZZZZZZ] (XX-User number, ZZZZZZ-User code). If correct, press [ENTER]. Keypad displays [PASSCODE CHANGED].
Chime Mode On/Off
[CMD] [6] turns on/off the "Watch Mode".
Force Arm Over Bad Zones
[Arm Method] Keypad will display [AREA X 01 FAULTS], Press [NEXT]. Keypad displays [FORCE/BYPAS ARM?]. Press [ENTER].
Power Down Panel
Remove one wire from NP7-12 battery. Remove one AC power wire from the panel. This is located bottom of panel, last 2 terminals on right side.
View Faulted Zones
Press [NEXT]. Keypad displays [AREA X 02 FAULTS]. Press [NEXT]. Keypad displays [FAULTED ZONE TEXT]. Press [NEXT], Keypad displays [NEXT FAULTED ZONE TEXT], etc. Press [CLR] to return to idle screen.

Code Change: [COMMAND][5][5], Old Code; New Code; New code again. D8112A and D8112E panels, the command is [COMMAND][5]. Most panels are D8112G models that use Command 55.

Note: If you use Command 55, the user code will be a 6 digit number and the first 2 digits must stay the same (they are the user #). If you use Command 5, the user code will be a 5 digit number and the first digit must stay the same (it is the user #).

This function can be disabled in programming, though it usually isn't.
Chime Mode On/Off: [COMMAND][6] turns on/off the "Watch Mode".
Force Arm Over Open Zones:  If using [Code] to arm, hold last digit until panel arms over open zones. If using Command 1,2 or 3, press [COMMAND] and hold down the digit 1,2 or 3 until panel arms over open zones.
Power Down Panel: Pull wire from NP7-12 battery, pull off wire on terminal 1, upper left corner of panel.
View Faulted Zones
If zones are faulted, keypad will display [NOT READY TO ARM]. Press any numeric key on the keypad to view faulted zones.

Arm
